Darren Haugen is a seasoned professional in the financial services and banking industry, currently serving as AVP Business Banking at Starion Bank since December 2000, after a successful 14-year career in insurance and investment. Prior to this role, Darren held the position of SVP Financial Services, where responsibilities included overseeing the retail Insurance and Investment Program and managing Starion Bond Services, a Registrar and Paying Agent for municipal bond issues in North Dakota. Earlier in Darren's career, from November 1996 to December 2000, Darren worked as Insurance & Services Manager at the North Dakota Bankers Association, endorsing products and services for member banks and insuring over 85% of the banks in the state. Darren holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Minnesota State University Moorhead and completed studies at Bismarck State College.
