Ian Goldsmith

Ian Goldsmith is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in strategic management and operations. Currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer at STARK since March 2023, Goldsmith previously held the role of Chief Operating Officer at Brakes from June 2006 to May 2018, overseeing a leading European wholesaler of food and catering equipment with approximately £2.8 billion in sales. Prior to that, Goldsmith was the Group Strategy Director at Travis Perkins from March 2000 to June 2006. Goldsmith holds an MBA from London Business School and a PhD in Geology from Durham University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Bristol. Early education was completed at Felsted.
