Andreas Mueller

Andreas Mueller has had extensive work experience in the finance and M&A sectors. Andreas is currently the Head of M&A at STARK Deutschland since March 2020. Prior to this, Andreas worked as a self-employed consultant, providing services in strategy, M&A, and finance from July 2019 to March 2020.

Before their self-employment, Andreas held the position of Co-CEO, CFO, and Founder at Terram Energie GmbH from July 2018 to February 2019. During their time there, they successfully established and grew an independent energy supplier in Germany, focusing on the private customer and SME segments.

From January 2016 to June 2018, Andreas worked at ExtraEnergie GmbH as the Director of Corporate Finance/Development & Head of M&A. In this role, they led the strategic development of the German operations and was responsible for all corporate M&A opportunities for the company. Andreas also played a key role in the reorganization of the Extra Group.

Prior to their time at ExtraEnergie GmbH, Andreas worked at Greenhill & Co. as a Principal from March 2010 to June 2015. During this time, they led various M&A transactions and provided strategic advice to clients in sectors such as testing/inspection/certification, automotive, energy, industrials, and chemicals.

Andreas began their career as an Associate at Perella Weinberg Partners from October 2006 to January 2010. Prior to that, they worked as an Analyst at Credit Suisse from July 2005 to September 2006.

Andreas Mueller began their education in 2000 at TU Bergakademie Freiberg, where they obtained a Vordiplom in BWL. Andreas then continued their studies at ESCP Business School from 2002 to 2005, earning a Diplom-Kaufmann, Master of Science (MSc.), and Diplôme de Grande École de Commerce in International Management.
