Bergen Flom began their career as a Digital Editorial Assistant and Freelance Writer at Mpls.St.Paul Magazine in 2019. They then joined Whittier College in 2018 as a Diversity Ambassador & Marketing Lead for Campus Life. In 2020, Bergen worked as a Marketing Specialist at STARK. While attending college, they co-founded and served as the Editor-In-Chief of TRASH MAG in 2017. Currently, Bergen is employed at Carmichael Lynch as an Assistant Brand Planner, and previously interned there as a Brand Planner.

Bergen Flom completed their high school education at Hopkins High School, earning a High School Diploma in an unspecified field of study in 2017. Subsequently, they attended Whittier College from 2017 to 2021, where they pursued a Self-Designed Bachelor of Arts degree in Design & Social Entrepreneurship. Additionally, they completed a minor in Gender Studies during their time at Whittier College.
