Maria Conte has over 25 years of experience in sales and account management within the interior design and flooring industry. Since May 2005, Maria has held several prominent roles at STARK, including Director of New York Showroom and New York Showroom Manager, where responsibilities included specializing in broadloom and hand-knotted rugs while collaborating with interior designers and retail clients. Prior experience includes a role as Account Manager at abc carpet & home, focusing on broadloom sales, and as Sales Manager at A L Myers Furniture, overseeing the floor covering department. Maria's career began as an Assistant to the Sales Manager at A L Myers Furniture, providing support in pricing, order placements, and delivery scheduling. Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Pace University.
