Hisham Yakub, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and investment analysis. Currently serving as Senior Portfolio Manager at Starlight Capital since 2023, Hisham previously held the position of Portfolio Manager at Fairbank Investment Management Limited from 2013 to 2023, where responsibilities included identifying investment opportunities, managing portfolio construction, and refining internal processes for improved effectiveness. Hisham's early career included roles such as Intern Investment Analyst at Fairbank Investment Management Limited, Business Analyst at CPP Investment Board, Financial Systems Analyst at Odyssey Financial Technologies, and Project Leader at Symcor. Hisham holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management and a BBA in Information Technology from York University.
