Afshin Nikseresht

Afshin Nikseresht has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Afshin started their professional career in 1996 as an Analyst-Designer/Developer at the Department of Computer Engineering at Shiraz University. From 1997 to 2001, they worked as a System and Network Administrator at the Department of Computer Engineering and Kharazmi Computer Center. In 1998, they served as a Research Assistant/Developer at the Department of Computer Engineering at Shiraz University.

In 2000, Afshin became a University Instructor at Shiraz University and Azad University campuses. Afshin then worked as a Research Scientist/Developer at Nantes Université from 2004 to 2008. From 2009 to 2010, they held the position of Research Scientist/Teacher in Computer Science at Polytech Nantes.

In 2011, Afshin gained voluntary experience as a Web Designer and an Analyst Designer/Developer at the Surface Engineering and Instrumentation Lab, Mechanical Engineering Department. Afshin also worked as a Software Developer/Analyst at TRIMET Storage Solutions from 2016 to 2017.

Their primary work experience is with PSCL, where they started in 2012. Afshin contributed to the design and development of quality lab data management software for cement plants in various countries. Afshin also worked on new projects in C# and participated in the migration of old products from VB6 to VB.Net and C#. Additionally, Afshin was involved in database development, resolution of software support issues, and data porting programs.

Currently, Afshin Nikseresht is a Software Developer at STARLIMS since December 2022, working remotely.

Afshin Nikseresht completed their B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, specializing in Hardware, at Shiraz University from 1991 to 1996. Afshin then pursued a master's degree in Computer Engineering, with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, at Shiraz University from 1996 to 1999. Later, they obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science, with a specialization in Machine Learning - Collective Learning, from Nantes Université from 2004 to 2008.
