Jason Furgala

Jason Furgala has a diverse work experience spanning multiple positions and industries. Jason is currently working as the Global Controller at STARLIMS since March 2022. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Accounting Operations at RedSail Technologies, LLC from September 2021 to February 2022.

Between 2017 and 2021, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Quantros. In this role, they were responsible for the Finance and Information Technology teams, managing strategic relationships, and taking full financial responsibility for the organization. Jason also played a key role in restructuring a company loan, implementing a new benefits platform, and overseeing the expansion of office space.

From 2014 to 2016, Jason worked at Concentrix, first as the Controller for North American Operations and later as the Coupa Project Manager. As Controller, they were responsible for US GAAP accounting, financial reporting, and managing external stakeholders. During their time as the Coupa Project Manager, they led the implementation of a new spend management and expense reporting system.

From 2012 to 2014, they held two roles at IBM Global Process Services, serving as the Controller for Insurance Outsourcing and Mortgage Subservicing. In these positions, they oversaw financial results, finance functions, and strategic decision making for both divisions.

Prior to that, Jason worked at IBM Growth Markets as the Senior Manager for Accounting Consolidation & Analysis from 2009 to 2012. In this role, they managed technical accounting and financial reporting for the business unit and provided guidance to four International Accounting Centers of Excellence.

Earlier in their career, they held various analyst roles at IBM Corporate Headquarters and IBM Asia Pacific Headquarters, focusing on balance sheet reporting, profit & loss analysis, and hardware brands.
