Virginia Ulloa Sica

Virginia Ulloa Sica has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Virginia began their career in 2007 as a Project Assistant at the Gonzalo Rodriguez Foundation, where they conducted surveys and prepared progress reports for various projects.

In 2009, Virginia joined the Technological Laboratory of Uruguay as a Technical Assistant, where they provided ERP implementation and testing, user training, and integration with STARLMS. Virginia later transitioned to the role of Customer Service Agent and Business Analyst, responsible for managing CRM and SAP systems.

In 2018, Virginia joined Boston Scientific as a Process Improvement Analyst, focusing on customer service, supply chain management, and providing SAP support. Their responsibilities included maintaining SAP databases, creating manuals for internal users, and generating reports and metrics using Tableau.

In 2020, Virginia moved to SGS, where they served as a STARLIMS Global Master Data Analyst. Virginia coordinated global master data analysis and was later promoted to the role of Global StarLIMS DQM Master Data Analyst Coordinator.

Most recently, Virginia joined STARLIMS as a Project Manager - Business Analyst in 2022.

Virginia Ulloa Sica completed their Master's degree in Big Data and Business Analytics at IMF Smart Education from 2018 to 2019, specializing in Information Technology. Prior to that, they obtained a Technician degree in Business Administration from Facultad de Ciencias Economicas. In 2014, they completed a Certification preparation course for PMO and CAMP at the Montevideo Chapter, Project Management Institute, focusing on Projects. In 2007, they achieved the title of Assistant in Foreign Trade from Cámara de comercio Alemana en Uruguay.

In terms of additional certifications, Virginia obtained several certifications from LinkedIn. In September 2018, they completed courses such as "Aprende big data: Conceptos básicos para IT," "Big data: Estructurar el proyecto desde IT," and "DevOps esencial." In August 2018, they obtained certifications in "Fundamentos de big data" and "Fundamentos de transformación digital: Tecnologías clave."
