Janet Pun has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Janet began their career as a User Engagement Project Coordinator at Research In Motion in 2011. In 2013, they moved to Ernst & Young as an Engagement Coordinator in the People's Advisory. In 2015, they held two roles simultaneously, Public Relations at Skylar Entertainment and Publicity and Promotions at Allied Integrated Marketing. The following year, they joined THP (The Hot Plate) as an Account Manager. In 2017, they moved to Edelman as an Account Manager and Client Strategy. In 2018, they became a Freelance Data Auditor, Strategist, and Project Manager. Most recently, in 2019, they joined Starling Minds as a Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager, where they work to support mental wellbeing in the workplace.
Janet Pun obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Simon Fraser University between 2007 and 2012. In 2015, they earned a Certificate of Public Relations from Ryerson University in the field of Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication. Janet also holds a Passport to Education Scholarship from Vancouver Technical Secondary School. Additionally, they have a Psychological Health and Safety Professional Certification from the Canadian Mental Health Association.
