Rob Hickling

Rob Hickling is the VP of Technology at Starling Minds, leading all aspects of technology including software development, cloud infrastructure, security, and data infrastructure. With extensive experience in software engineering and information technology leadership roles at various companies, Rob has a strong background in commercialization strategy, software development, and innovation. Prior to their current role, Rob held positions such as Director of Innovation, IT, and Software Development at Rick Hansen Institute and Manager of Applications Development at Thomson Financial. Rob also founded their own consulting company and a start-up focused on point of sale software for the retail jewellery industry. Rob holds a BSc in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia.
