Harvey Starr

Harvey Starr is the owner of Starr Labs, as well as the president since July 1986, specializing in the invention and manufacturing of electronic musical instruments and high-speed data acquisition systems. Additionally, Harvey has been a member of the MIDI Manufacturers Association since 1992. Previous experience includes positions in test engineering for LISP-based minicomputers at Symbolics Inc. from 1987 to 1989, and in research and development at Tandon Corp. during 1982-1983, focusing on hard disc electronics. Harvey also worked in test engineering on Landsat IR camera electronics at Hughes Santa Barbara Research Center from 1981 to 1982. Education was pursued at UCLA from 1968 to 1974.
