Matt Curtis

Matt Curtis is a seasoned insurance professional currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of US Large Casualty at Starr Insurance since April 2021. Prior to this role, Matt amassed extensive experience at Liberty Mutual Insurance from June 2007 to March 2021, where responsibilities included management positions such as Sr. Underwriting Manager for National Insurance Specialty Construction and overseeing underwriting capabilities and standards. Earlier roles at Liberty Mutual involved managing teams of commercial insurance underwriters, driving business strategies, and evaluating financial standing in the underwriting process. Matt's career began as a Fund Accountant at Investors Bank & Trust, after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with a focus on Finance from the RPI Lally School of Management in 2006.
