Richard N. Shaak

Richard N. Shaak is President and CEO of STARR Technical Risks Agency, Inc., a market leader in providing property insurance, fronting, claims, and loss control services to the highly specialized energy-related and technical industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical and power generation industries.

Prior to this role, Mr. Shaak has held a number of positions at STARR including President of Starr Indemnity & Liability Company, President of Starr Underwriting Agencies, Eastern Zone Manager, and Vice President and Regional Manager for the New York office of Starr Tech.

Mr. Shaak is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering.
