Dennie McGarry has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Starting in 1992, Dennie worked as a Cash Manager at First Union National Bank. From there, Dennie transitioned to the role of Program Director at Mecklenburg County Council, Boy Scouts of America, where they managed program revenue and successfully exceeded fundraising goals. Dennie then took on the positions of Director of Camping Services and Field Director at Denver Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, where they managed teams, increased revenue, and implemented successful donor recognition programs. In 2010, Dennie became the Operations Center Manager at Pendum LLC, overseeing cash logistics and service maintenance for ATMs. After that, Dennie held the role of Vice-President of Sales at Zen Planner, where they developed sales teams and processes to significantly grow customer acquisition. Dennie's next position was in Business Development and Sales at Causely Inc., contributing to partner relationships and enterprise sales in a social media marketing company. Dennie then transitioned to the role of Director of Business Development at Active Oversight, where they facilitated new market and business development in the construction industry. Most recently, Dennie has been the Director of Sales, North America at StarRez Inc. since 2019, responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the company's customer base.
Dennie McGarry completed their education in a chronological order. They attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, with a minor in Business Administration. After a significant gap, from 2004 to 2005, they transferred to Wake Forest University School of Business for an unspecified reason. Finally, from 2006 to 2008, Dennie pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a Marketing Track at the University of Colorado Denver.
