Emily Hunter has a diverse range of work experience across various industries. Emily started their career as an Admissions Associate at Colorado Christian University, where they gained skills in communication and event coordination. Emily also worked as a Resident Assistant, fostering personal relationships and supporting the spiritual development of students.

Emily then worked as a Teaching Assistant, grading assignments and providing guidance to students. Emily later interned at The Blue Bench, where they completed a training program to aid victims of sexual assault and worked as a Hotline Advocate.

At Everytown for Gun Safety, Emily served as the Faith Outreach Lead, creating strategic plans and campaigning for common-sense gun laws. Emily also participated in statewide calling campaigns to engage constituents with their legislators.

Emily briefly worked as a Temporary Executive Assistant at CCCA, assisting with administrative tasks and coordinating transportation for VIP guests. Emily then transitioned to a role as a Conference Administrator, managing speakers, travel arrangements, and schedules for a national conference.

In their most recent position at Starry, Inc., Emily held the role of Dispatcher, overseeing internet service installers across multiple markets and time zones. Emily worked cross-functionally with various teams and utilized several software systems to efficiently accomplish their tasks.

During their time at Starry, Emily was promoted to Senior Dispatcher, where they revamped training materials and managed the onboarding process for new team members during a period of rapid growth. Emily worked closely with team leadership to integrate new members into the existing culture of trust and collaboration.

In their current role as Training and Content Lead at Starry, Emily is responsible for creating the learning and development strategy for the Subscriber Services Operations Department. Emily has built and maintained the knowledge framework for each team/role within the department and is revamping training materials to enhance employee engagement and knowledge retention.

Emily Hunter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Colorado Christian University from 2011 to 2020. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including HTML Essential Training, Nonprofit Management Foundations, Project Management Foundations, Project Management: Preventing Scope Creep, Sustainability Strategies, Advanced Google Analytics, and Basic Google Analytics from LinkedIn and Google in September 2018.
