Istvan Kovacs is an experienced engagement manager currently at Abylon since September 2024, with a robust background in leading and managing large teams and delivering technology solutions. Prior roles at Starschema included delivery lead, where management of nine teams and oversight of major accounts focused on revenue and profitability. Additional responsibilities encompassed account negotiations and successful solution delivery as a delivery unit manager, as well as significant contributions to developing GE's centralized Finance Data Lake. Istvan also served as a business analyst and BI consultant, specializing in system analysis and stakeholder engagement. Earlier experience includes consultancy work with Neoris, project management, and roles in maintenance and sales management. Istvan holds a degree in Software Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics and a certification as a Body-Building Coach.
