Ardi Loot has worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Starship Technologies since August 2018. In this role, they conducted extensive research and successfully implemented the calibration of Time-of-Flight (ToF) cameras. Prior to this, Ardi worked at the University of Tartu from January 2010 to December 2018 as an Engineer. During this time, they worked on a PhD thesis focused on enhancing spontaneous parametric down-conversion in plasmonic and dielectric structures. Their work involved in-depth study, analysis, experimental setups, theoretical analyses, and numerical simulations.
Ardi Loot's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Tartu, which was obtained from 2009 to 2012. This was followed by a Master of Science in Physics from the same university, obtained from 2012 to 2014. Ardi then pursued a PhD in Physics at the University of Tartu from 2014 to 2018. Prior to university, Ardi attended Hugo Treffner's High School from 2006 to 2009. A brief period of study at the University of Toronto in 2013 is also mentioned, however, the degree obtained is unspecified.
