George Plummer is the Founder and CEO of ShipIT, an app that simplifies the delivery process of online and offline orders in Australia and NZ. Prior to this role, George was a Senior Software Architect at Dell Software / Quest Software / ScriptLogic Corp, where George led the development of Windows Administration products. George also founded MaSaI Solutions, where George developed application packaging tools for IT administrators. With a Bachelor of Applied Computing from Lincoln University (NZ), George has a strong background in software development and IT consulting for various companies like Railtrack, Psion, Symbian, Elekta, and Trimble Navigation.

In 2014, George Plummer, developer by trade and founder of Starshipit, met Alex Webster, owner of Coast New Zealand.
