Dirk Lievens is currently a Business Coach at Start it. Dirk has over 20 years of experience in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship. Dirk has held various positions such as Innovation Manager & Business Developer, Innovation & Community Manager / Mentor, and Non Executive Director. Dirk has also been an Innovation Enabler & Advisor as well as part of the Advisory Committee for the KBC Focus Fund. Dirk is an experienced practitioner with a hands-on approach. Dirk has supported over 600 startups and brings lean innovation to corporate organisations. Dirk is also a strategic investor with the KBC Focus Fund.

Dirk Lievens attended UC Leuven-Limburg, where they earned a postgraduate degree in Bemiddeling, specialisatie burgerlijke en handelszaken. Dirk also holds a master's degree in Managerial Informatics from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and a master's degree in Commercial Engineer from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. Dirk Lievens graduated from Sint-Aloysiuscollege Geel with high distinction in Maths-Science.
