Christina Bennett

Christina Bennett serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Start Network since September 2019. Prior to this role, Christina held significant positions at the Overseas Development Institute, including Head of the Humanitarian Policy Group and Research Fellow from May 2014 to September 2019. Experience also includes serving as Chief of the Policy Analysis and Innovation Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs at the United Nations from April 2012 to May 2013, and roles within the United Nations from March 2004 to November 2009 as a Policy Adviser and Spokesperson. Additional experience includes Communications Manager at the Afghanistan Research and Evaluation Unit, Editorial Director at eCountries, Founder of Candide Media Works, Producer for Time Inc New Media, and Reporter for Business Week Magazine. Christina holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Columbia University SIPA and a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude in International Relations and Affairs from Brown University.
