Katherine Schwarz is currently serving as Programme Funding Manager for Start Fund Bangladesh and Start Fund Nepal at Start Network since September 2023. With a strong background in programme design and development, Katherine previously held the position of Programme Design and Development Specialist at Malaria Consortium from August 2015 to August 2021. Katherine’s prior experience includes roles such as Awards Manager for the Ebola Response and Consortium Coordinator for ECHO Bohol at Save the Children International, as well as involvement in humanitarian responses and flood programs with Save the Children and CARE International UK. Katherine began a career in program coordination and grant management with organizations such as AMREF UK, EveryChild, and Merlin. Katherine holds an MSc in Violence, Conflict and Development from SOAS University of London and a BSc in Sociology from the University of Bristol.
