Rachel Conway-Doel is an experienced professional in humanitarian operations and program management, currently serving as Start Funds Operations Advisor at Start Network since January 2024. Previously, Rachel held roles such as Humanitarian Transformation Officer at Save the Children UK and Operations Coordinator for CCD Network, where responsibilities encompassed operational support, award management, and the development of governance mechanisms and knowledge systems. Notable past positions include Programme Manager for Ukraine War response at the European Baptist Federation, overseeing a significant multi-country response, and extensive leadership roles at BMS World Mission, where Rachel managed humanitarian projects and partnerships. Rachel has also contributed to governance as a Board Trustee for the Baptist Missionary Society Pension Trust Fund and has a solid educational background with a Bachelor's Degree in Geography and International Development from the University of Sussex.
