Smruti Patel

Smruti Patel is a seasoned professional specializing in gender dynamics, power relations, and locally led development within humanitarian contexts. Currently serving as a Learning Facilitator at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, Smruti designs and facilitates reflections and learning sessions to enhance organizational awareness of gender and power issues. As the Founder and Co-Director of the Global Mentoring Initiative, Smruti promotes capacity strengthening for local and national NGOs through equitable partnerships. Experience includes facilitating dialogues and learning for Start Network's National Hubs and conducting evaluations for gender integration in humanitarian assistance projects. Smruti holds an MSc in Development Practices from Oxford Brookes University and a BA (Hons) in International Policy Administration from the University of Staffordshire.
