Jennie Merrill Boudreaux

Jennie Merrill Boudreaux currently serves as the Executive Director of Start the Adventure in Reading (STAIR) since November 2023. Prior to this role, Jennie held the position of Director of Education at the Southern Food and Beverage Museum from June 2014 to July 2023, where responsibilities included directing a Summer Kids Culinary Camp for 140 children and supervising interns. Additional experience includes serving as a Paraeducator at Sylvanie Williams College Prep Elementary, where Jennie implemented reading interventions, and working as a Job Coach Coordinator at Lighthouse Louisiana, supervising employees and supporting individuals with disabilities. Jennie's career began with a role as a Transition Coach for Literacy AmeriCorps, assisting students in transitioning to college programs. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in English and Psychology from North Park University and a certificate in Biblical and Theological Studies from Covenant Bible College.
