René Böhm is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in ecosystem development, start-ups, and innovation within the digital technologies and renewable energy sectors. Currently serving as Lead Expert at Deutsche Energie-Agentur GmbH (dena) since July 2016, René has held multiple roles focused on start-ups, innovation, and communications. Additionally, René contributes to the Tech for Net Zero Alliance as Project Staff, promoting climate tech finance and market demand. In the role of Growth and Business Development at Start Up Energy Transition, René enhances the impact of energy innovators aimed at achieving climate neutrality. Previous experience includes positions at Webhelp Deutschland and KPMG Deutschland, along with a foundation in event management from Holiday Inn Berlin Airport - Conference Centre. René holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from The Berlin School of Economics and Law and has furthered education at the University of New Orleans.
