Nasir Ali

Nasir Ali has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Nasir started in 2010 as the Co-Founder and CEO of Upstate Venture Connect, and in 2011 became the Managing Director of StartFast. In 2014, they joined the NYS Innovation Venture Capital Fund as an Investment Committee Member, while also serving as a Board Observer for SpinCar® and an Advisory Board Member for Paper Battery Company. In 2016, they became an Advisor for Kip, an AI chat-bot platform. Ali then joined NextGen Venture Partners as a Partner in 2017, while also serving as an Advisor for Fitz Gate Ventures. Nasir has been a Member and Executive Director of Seed Capital Fund of CNY, LLC since 2007. Additionally, they served as a Director for Chequed.com from 2010 to 2013.

Nasir Ali attended Princeton University from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics (AB). Nasir then pursued further education at Yale School of Management from 1989 to 1991, completing a Master's degree in Finance and Operations Management (MPPM or MBA).
