Ray McKenzie

Ray McKenzie has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as the Founder and CEO of StartingPoint, a SaaS workflow management and customer operations platform. Ray has also founded and served as the Managing Director of Red Beach Advisors, a technology management consulting firm that works with enterprise tech and tech-enabled companies. Additionally, Ray has worked as an Executive Consultant at Aventi Group, where they worked with F1000 companies in cybersecurity, cloud computing, and technology solutions. Ray has also worked as a Management Consultant at ISSI (Information Security Systems International). Ray's expertise in technology and entrepreneurship is further demonstrated by their roles as a Managing Partner and Angel Investor at Archangels Investors and as a Venture Advisor at LvlUp Ventures. Furthermore, they have served as a Board of Advisors at Scylla, Kyosk, and Develandoo. Ray also has experience as an Advisor at The Predictive Group, Inc, where they provided expertise in workforce analytics.

Ray McKenzie attended San Diego State University from 1997 to 2001, where they studied Management Information Systems, General. In 2017, they received a Lean Six Sigma Certification in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Villanova University. Additionally, Ray has obtained several certifications, including ITIL v3 Foundation from PEOPLECERT in October 2016, Predictive Index - Certified PI Management Analyst from The Predictive Index in November 2014, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF) from Amazon Web Services in February 2018, and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in November 2017.
