Kaya Moore

Kaya Moore currently serves as Project and Community Manager at Startmate, a community-driven accelerator that supports founders and investors in Australia and New Zealand. Additionally, Kaya is a Founding Member of Sydney Climate Action Week, a city-wide initiative aimed at promoting climate action and sustainable solutions. Previously, Kaya held the role of Head of Science at Bardee, an organization focused on addressing food waste through innovative insect-based solutions. Previous experience includes positions as Lead Scientist and Research Support Officer at the University of Melbourne, along with various research and coordination roles at cesar and Egon Zehnder. Kaya holds a Master of Science in BioSciences from the University of Melbourne and multiple degrees in biology and philosophy from institutions including the University of Notre Dame and The University of Western Australia.
