Herman F.

Herman F. is an experienced professional in venture capital and customer success, currently serving as an Expert in Residence focusing on pitch decks and venture capital readiness at StartOut. Previously, Herman was a Venture Fellow at BLCK VC, where expertise was developed in preparing Black technology executives for roles in fund management and investment. As an advisor at The Swarm, strategic counsel on customer success and onboarding was provided to enhance user experience before the platform's public launch. Herman also held the position of Head of Customer, partnering closely with early-stage founders to navigate startup scaling challenges. At Sequoia Capital, contributions were made to build high-impact teams for early-stage companies, while prior roles include Account Manager at ofo and Captain in operations and logistics management with the US Army. Herman holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Central Missouri.
