Joel Valverde

Manager of Customer Success at StarTree

Joel Valverde has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Joel is currently serving as the Manager of Customer Success at StarTree since April 2023. Before that, Joel worked at Confluent, where they held the position of Senior Strategic Customer Success Manager from February 2022 to April 2023, and prior to that, they served as a Strategic Customer Success Manager from July 2020 to February 2022. Joel also worked at Cloudera as a Customer Success Manager from April 2016 to May 2020. Earlier in their career, Joel was a Project Manager at Engility Corporation from July 2011 to April 2016 and at 3TI from May 2010 to June 2011. Joel began their professional journey as an IA Analyst at TWM Associates, Inc. in April 2006 and additionally served as an IA Analyst at GSA from 2008 to 2009. Throughout their career, Joel has consistently shown a strong focus on customer success and project management roles.

Joel Valverde holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in C.S. - Information Assurance from the Naval Postgraduate School. Joel also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in TMAC from California State University, Monterey Bay. In addition to their formal education, Joel Valverde has earned several certifications, namely ITIL Foundations in June 2012, PMP in August 2011, and CISSP in September 2007.
