Randika Navagamuwa

Randika Navagamuwa has a diverse range of work experience. They started their career as a Software Engineering Intern at WSO2, where they developed features for the WSO2 API manager and customized and deployed the WSO2 Enterprise Mobility Manager.

After that, Randika worked as the Director of IT for the Rotaract Club of University of Moratuwa, where they were responsible for maintaining the club's website, improving online presence, and creating a virtual archive of club documents.

They then joined the Eclipse Foundation as a Google Summer of Code Intern & Contributor, where they implemented the pair programming feature for Eclipse CHE and optimized it, as well as adding a chat feature.

Randika then moved on to SLAppForge as a Senior Software Engineer, where they helped bring serverless computing and applications into mainstream enterprise use through the Sigma cloud-based IDE.

Next, they worked at AdroitLogic as a Software Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer, where they contributed to multiple customer-related projects and deployments, with a focus on the AdroitLogic AS2 Gateway.

At WSO2, Randika held various roles, including Senior Solutions Engineer, Associate Lead Solutions Engineer, and currently as a Solutions Architect at StarTree. At WSO2, they worked on analyzing and conceptualizing technical designs, planning and managing customer projects, evaluating and recommending vendor products, conducting architecture reviews and demos, and writing and maintaining custom program code.

Throughout their work experience, Randika has demonstrated strong technical skills, including in solutions architecture, serverless computing, software development, and cloud-based IDEs. They have also showcased their leadership abilities by leading solutions architecture and sales efforts in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) sub-region.

Randika Navagamuwa obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Integrated Computer Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, where they studied from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended the University of Colombo from 2011 to 2012 and earned a Diploma in Java, focusing on computer programming. From 1997 to 2011, Randika studied Mathematics at Ananda College. In addition to their formal education, Randika has obtained several certifications, including Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Core Services, Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation, Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure from Google Cloud Platform Certified, and WSO2 Certified API Manager Developer and WSO2 Certified Enterprise Integrator Developer - ESB Profile from WSO2.
