Kristen Jain, CPA, CA, has a robust background in accounting and product partner management, currently serving as the Lead of Product Partner Management and Shipping Operations Lead at Shopify since November 2017. Kristen's involvement with Startup Canada as a member of the Board of Directors since June 2018 reflects a commitment to supporting Canadian entrepreneurs. Previous roles include Senior Business Analyst at Shopify, Accounting Manager at Assent Compliance Inc., and Manager of Technical Accounting at SOAProjects, Inc., where responsibilities included applying US GAAP and managing audit processes. Kristen began a career at Deloitte, advancing from Senior Accountant to Audit in Charge, overseeing numerous audit engagements across diverse industries. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Carleton University.
