Arifusalam Shaikh

Arifusalam Shaikh, PhD, CSCP, is an accomplished academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in teaching and research. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at University Canada West since October 2022, Arifusalam also co-directs the Startup Grind UCW Chapter and has been the CEO and Co-Founder of SkillsHawk, a company specializing in intelligent skills traceability tools, since December 2017. Previous roles include Co-Founder and Product Design at dependbuild, Employment Program Manager and Project Lead at the Association for New Canadians, and multiple positions at Memorial University of Newfoundland, including Postdoctoral Fellow in Product Development and Commercialization. With a solid educational background featuring a PhD from the University of Kent and teaching experiences spanning various institutions in management science, operations management, and industrial engineering, Arifusalam's research encompasses management science, supply chain management, and project management, among other areas.
