Claudius Mbemba

Claudius Mbemba is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in venture investment and technology leadership. Currently serving as the Venture Investment Director at Startup Haven since August 2020, Claudius is instrumental in building the inaugural Fund for Startup Haven Ventures, focusing on supporting founders with robust growth plans. As CTO of neu since February 2018 and a co-founder of the same during its time in Techstars Seattle, Claudius has played a significant role in advancing innovative technology solutions. Additionally, Claudius contributes as Board Chair of The Ohio State University Alumni Association and as a Board Member and Committee Co-Chair at FIRST Washington, dedicated to inspiring youth in science and technology. Past experience includes engineering roles at Microsoft, where Claudius worked on mobile applications and machine learning among other projects, as well as founding Fundstarter, a crowdfunding platform for nonprofits. Claudius holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer and Information Sciences, Entrepreneurship/Business, and Spanish from The Ohio State University.
