Bryan O. has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Bryan most recently worked at KRA (Kenya Revenue Authority) as a Data Governance Lead, where they are currently employed. Prior to this, they served as a Data Quality Lead and was responsible for supervising data cleaning tasks and supporting the project manager. Before that, Bryan worked as a Business System Analyst at KRA, providing end user support and training for the iTax system. Bryan also has experience as an Accountant/Finance Officer at KRA. In addition to their roles at KRA, Bryan has held positions at African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) as a Scientific Committee Member, where they were involved in reviewing and selecting research papers for conferences and publications. Bryan has also worked as a Tax Trainer at Kenya School of Revenue Administration (KESRA), a Health Transformer at StartUp Health, and as the Founder and CEO of Jabotech Creative Media Limited.

From 2002 to 2004, they attended Vision Institute of Professionals and obtained a Certified Public Accountants (CPA) degree, specializing in Accounting.

In 2009, they enrolled at Mount Kenya University - MKU and completed a Bachelor of Business Information Technology (BBIT) degree, with a focus on Distributed Computing. Bryan graduated in 2012.

Between 2015 and 2016, Bryan pursued two courses from The Johns Hopkins University. Firstly, they completed a degree in "mHealth Basics: Introduction to Mobile Technology for Health," specializing in Mobile Technology for Health. Later, in 2016, they attended a program on "Social Media for Health and Development."

From 2015 to 2017, they studied at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, earning a Master's Degree in Computer Systems in 2017.

In 2016, Bryan pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Tax Administration, with a focus on Tax Law/Taxation, from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Bryan finished the program in 2018.

In terms of additional certifications, Bryan obtained several certifications and memberships. Bryan became a member of the African Tax Research Network (ATRN) in December 2019 through the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF). In July 2018, they obtained the PRINCE2™ Practitioner CPD certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice and became a Registered PRINCE2™ Practitioner through PeopleCert. In December 2017, they obtained the Cisco CCNA Cyber Security Certification. Finally, they acquired the Oracle Big Data Fundamentals Ed 2 certification in November 2022 and plans to complete the "'Build your own GPT4All based Content Generator' Online Bootcamp" at Open Weaver in 2023.
