Mariya (Mary) Filipenko is a Junior Member Relations Manager at Startup-Verband since December 2024. Currently, Filipenko is also involved as a Community Member at 2hearts, contributing to the development of a culturally diverse tech society. Prior experience includes serving as a Founder's Associate at promiseQ, where responsibilities encompassed strategic business development, seed fundraising, and market research. Additional roles include a trainee position at Innovis VC, a student assistant at Technische Universität Berlin focusing on microplastic solutions, and various internships in the fashion industry. Filipenko holds a Master’s degree in Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainability from Technische Universität Berlin and has international education experience, including an Erasmus program at FEP U. Porto.

Opening up a dialogue with decision-makers in politics, we develop proposals that encourage a culture of self-employment and reduce the barriers to starting a business. We promote innovative entrepreneurship and want to establish an entrepreneurship mentality in society. We want to connect founders, startups and their friends with each other as a broad network.
