Joel Almeid

Joel Almeida is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of digital economy, design, and game development. Currently serving as a Digital Economy Advisor at the Ministry of Digital Economy for the Government of Cabo Verde since February 2022, Joel has co-founded multiple companies, including Buldanho Inovação e Tecnologia and NuBrinka. Previous roles encompass co-founding KBlast, where Joel also performs as a graphic designer, and working as a graphic designer for the Government of Cabo Verde. Additionally, Joel has experience as a designer and project manager at BONAKO, a game design teacher at the University of Cabo Verde, and ownership of Kebra Regra Design Studio. Education includes an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, a Licentiate degree in Multimedia from Escola Superior de Artes e Design, and ongoing studies in Personal and Executive Coaching at the Integrated Coaching Institute.
