Uğur Akkurt

Uğur Akkurt has a diverse work experience. Uğur began their career in 2015 as an Intern at OBSS. In 2016, they took on the role of a Teaching Assistant at Bilkent University and an Internship at ALTAIR Software & Defense Technologies Inc. In 2017, they started working as a Software Engineer at Garanti Teknoloji, where they maintained Garanti Virtual POS, Garanti Virtual POS Web Application and Garanti CallCenter Web Application, designed and developed an e-commerce real time fraud detection gateway system, and built a JS library for browser fingerprint detection. In 2019, they joined StartupHeroes as a Software Development Manager, Lead Software Engineer and Software Engineer.

Uğur Akkurt obtained their Lisans Derecesi in Computer Engineering from Bilkent University between 2011 and 2017. From 2014 to 2015, they were an Erasmus Student studying Computer Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam). Uğur attended Çapa Fen Lisesi from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, Uğur Akkurt holds an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 11 Developer certification from Oracle, which they obtained in April 2021.
