Rukshana Hussain

Rukshana Hussain has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting from 2009, they worked at Holiday Systems International as a Business to Business - Senior Lead, managing relationships and facilitating sales growth. From 2011 to 2014, they served as a Sales Administrator at Wyndham Destinations. In 2014, they joined TELUS International as a Senior Site Administrator, where they directed corporate social responsibility and community partnerships.

In 2017, Rukshana joined the City of Las Vegas, initially as an Administrative Officer in the Office of Strategic Services, where they built and managed the Customer CARE Center. Rukshana also served as a Senior Management Analyst in the Office of Information Technology, managing IT projects and programs and overseeing vendor relationships. During their tenure with the city, they led initiatives such as the planning and launching of the International Innovation Center.

Moving forward, Rukshana gained experience at Instapage as a Senior Operations and Client Project Manager, leading client delivery strategies and managing a team of project managers. Rukshana then worked at Synergex International Corporation as a Consulting Project Manager, leading a project management team in software development and support. After that, they joined V2 Strategic Advisors as a Manager in the Project Management Office, leading project managers across the U.S. and Latin America.

In 2022, Rukshana took on roles at StartUpNV, serving as the Director of IT Operations and later transitioning to the role of Director of Marketing. In these roles, they had responsibilities in leading marketing efforts, including website management and social media.

Most recently, in 2023, Rukshana joined Edgio as the Director of Information Technology. Overall, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and a focus on delivering quality solutions and services.

Rukshana Hussain attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University from 1999 to 2002, where they studied Psychology. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications in Incident Command System for Initial Response IS-00200.c and Incident Command System, ICS-100 from FEMA. Rukshana also obtained a Notary Public certification from the State of Nevada in October 2012.
