Volodymyr Horbenko

Volodymyr Horbenko has extensive experience in software development, with a focus on backend development. Volodymyr is currently working at Ostro as a Backend Technical Lead and previously worked at StartupSoft in the same role. Prior to that, they were employed at Wargaming as a Game Logic Developer and later as a Feature Technical Owner. Volodymyr also worked at SPS Commerce as a Python Developer, at Semantrum as a Python Backend Developer, and at lemon.ua as a Web Developer. In their various roles, Volodymyr has been responsible for tasks such as developing server back-ends, designing web-service architectures, and writing JavaScript scripts.

Volodymyr Horbenko obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Applied Mathematics from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' in the years 2012 to 2016. Volodymyr continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Cyber Security from 2016 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Horbenko has also obtained various certifications. Volodymyr completed several courses on the Coursera platform, including "Deep Learning Specialization," "Sequence Models," "Convolutional Neural Networks," "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning." These courses were obtained between 2019 and 2020.

Furthermore, Horbenko completed the "Introduction to Big Data" course on Coursera in 2016. Volodymyr also obtained a certification in "MongoDB for Developers" in 2015 and a certification in "shaping-up-with-angular-js" from Code School in the same year.
