Jonathan Schaffer is an accomplished industry mentor and product leader with extensive experience in startups, product development, and innovation strategy. Currently serving as an Industry Mentor at the NSF I-Corps Hub: Southwest and a Mentor at Techstars, Schaffer has contributed significantly to multiple startups in fundraising and product strategy. With a background as Director of Product at ETS, Head of Product at Riven, and Co-Founder & COO of Ondaka, Schaffer has a proven track record in leveraging AI and machine learning to enhance product offerings. Previous roles include Co-Founder & CEO/CTO at PureCarbon and leadership positions at Idea Couture Inc. and American Airlines, alongside early experience as a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Strategy & Operations from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University.
