David Staub

David Staub, CPA has over 20 years of work experience in accounting and finance. David currently works at Starwood Capital Group as the Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) since March 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Vice President and Management Company Controller from January 2021 to March 2023. From March 2016 to January 2021, they held the position of Vice President and GP Controller. Before joining Starwood Capital Group, David worked at DiCicco, Gulman & Company as a Senior Associate from 2005 to 2011. David started their career at TA Associates Realty as a Small Portfolio Accountant in 2002. Overall, David has a strong background in accounting and has held various leadership roles throughout their career.
