Joe O'Donnell

Joe O'Donnell, CMP, has extensive experience in event management, currently serving as Associate Director of Event Management at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. since November 2002. In this role, Joe O'Donnell manages convention groups of up to 11,000 attendees, coordinating all arrangements to ensure successful events and encourage repeat business while overseeing a team of meeting and event managers. Previously, Joe O'Donnell was a Senior Convention Manager at the same company and worked as an Assistant English Language Teacher in Japan's high school system during the JET program from 2000 to 2002. Earlier in their career, Joe O'Donnell held the position of Concierge/Restaurant Supervisor at Loews Hotels from 1992 to 2000. Joe O'Donnell holds a BA in Philosophy and Japanese Literature from the University of Arizona, completed in 1999.
