Cagdas Emek

Cagdas Emek is currently working as the Director of Engineering at STARZPLAY since November 2021. Prior to that, they founded Onveo - Cloud Video Solutions in 2018, where they developed a media asset management platform. Cagdas also worked as a Co-Managing Partner at MeloKnows since March 2020. In 2017, Cagdas worked as a Software Engineer at Bayzat, specializing in bug fixes, development, and code reviews. From 2012 to 2017, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Anvato, where they led software development cycles for digital video platforms. At Nokta, from 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on building and maintaining new products and managing technical teams. Prior to that, Cagdas worked as a Senior Software Engineer at akakce.com and as a Software Engineer at Nokta. Cagdas also completed a Senior Project at Bilkent University, where they developed a game development framework.

Cagdas Emek earned a B.S. degree in Computer Technologies & Information Systems from Bilkent University, where they studied from 2003 to 2009.
