Kemiyondo Coutinho

Kemiyondo Coutinho is a seasoned creative professional with extensive experience in the entertainment industry. As Co-Executive Producer at Starz since September 2019, Kemiyondo has contributed to acclaimed projects such as "PValley" and "Step Up: High Water." In 2016, Kemiyondo founded A Ka Dope, a platform that fosters collaboration among artists and has gained recognition from BBC and CNN. Additionally, Kemiyondo established Kemistry Klass, focusing on innovative storytelling about Africa through film and television. Previous roles include hosting the "Discover Uganda" travel show and leading initiatives to support local talent through the NuVo Arts Initiative. Kemiyondo holds an MFA in Acting from The A.C.T. Conservatory and has also completed a Professional Program in Writing For Television at UCLA, along with a BA from Lewis & Clark College.
