Russell Schwartz

Russell Schwartz is an accomplished executive in the television and media industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Original Programming Business Affairs at Starz since July 2019 and previously as Senior Vice President and Head of Original Programming Business & Legal Affairs since March 2011. With extensive experience at HBO from 1991 to 2008 in various leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of Business Affairs, Schwartz negotiated high-profile deals and oversaw the production of critically acclaimed series. Prior to Starz and HBO, Schwartz held positions at Briar Media, GTG Entertainment, CBS Entertainment, and Jackoway Tyreman, et. al., contributing to numerous successful projects across various platforms. Schwartz holds a JD from Cornell Law School and a BA in History from Washington University in St. Louis.
