Tatiana Shepeleva

Tatiana Shepeleva has a diverse work experience in quality assurance and engineering roles. Tatiana currently works at StashAway as a Staff Quality Assurance Engineer since July 2020. Prior to their current role, they worked at Toptal as a QA Automation Engineer and later as a Principal Engineer from January 2013 to July 2020. At Toptal, they played a key role in scaling the core engineering team by interviewing, onboarding, and coaching new QA team members. Tatiana also contributed to redefining and executing a new testing strategy that improved efficiency and allowed for the growth of the application. Before Toptal, they worked at ivi.ru as a QA Engineer focusing on functional testing and supporting the existing test automation framework from December 2012 to March 2013. Tatiana also worked at NetStream as a QA Engineer from October 2011 to November 2012, where they were responsible for testing a web application with an embedded Flash player. Tatiana introduced test automation practices to decrease regression testing time and conducted interviews and coaching for junior test engineers. Tatiana started their career as a Junior Tester at Skript from December 2010 to June 2011.

Tatiana Shepeleva pursued their education at Ulyanovsk State University from the year 2006 to 2011. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications to enhance their skill set. In May 2018, Tatiana completed a course on SQL for Data Science offered by Coursera. Tatiana also received a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates in April 2016. In August 2011, they achieved the Certified tester, foundation level (CTFL) credential from ASTQB.
