Katie Pyrdek

Katie Pyrdek is a highly experienced BSN Registered Nurse with a robust background in critical care and emergency services. Currently serving as a Senior Professional Flight Nurse at STAT MedEvac since August 2015, Katie's expertise includes mechanical ventilation, vaso-active medication titration, and continuous renal replacement therapy. Prior experience encompasses roles as a Professional Staff Nurse at UPMC Hamot, a Graduate Nurse and Patient Care Assistant in the Surgical and Trauma ICU, an EMT Assistant Instructor at the Community College of Allegheny County, and an Emergency Room Technician at Millcreek Community Hospital. An alumnus of Gannon University, Katie completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing between 2009 and 2012.
