Gustavo Sanchez

Gustavo Sanchez has a diverse work experience, starting in 1987 as an Econometrician at Banco Central de Venezuela. Gustavo then became the Jefe de division Programacion Cambiaria from January 1997 to May 1999. In 2004, Gustavo joined StataCorp as a Senior Statistician until September 2014. Gustavo then transitioned to the role of Senior Econometrician and later became the Director of Tech Services in January 2016.

Gustavo Sanchez earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics-Econometrics from the University of Southampton in 1993. Gustavo then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University from 1999 to 2004.
